We landed in quite late and came across Gourmet Taverna to eat, as most kitchens close around 10pm. The chef very kindly reopened the kitchen and the food was amazing. Very big portions, we had 2x starters between us and a main, which to be honest, I think we could have skipped the starters and gone straight to the mains, or had 1x starter and main. My husband had the moussaka and I had the mushroom risotto. Very nice indeed. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I'd love to see in their menu is a vegetarian moussaka. Staff and service were lovely, kind and friendly. Thank you.

I went for dinner tonight. I really enjoyed the food, and especially the Kolokythokeftedes and the dessert. It was a recommendation by someone. Maria's cake. The fresh orange juice enhanced its flavour.

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere at this local gem that we ended up going twice during holidays. We tried Mousaka, Stifado and Smyrni’s Pork Meatballa all of which were to die for. Very friendly staff and place is a family run business which is obvious by the warm welcome. Be aware that during busy times you may need to wait a bit longer for food but it was totally worth it in the end.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to here in Cyprus, the staff and food was amazing. Definitely try the Mydopilafo which is one of the best risottos I’ve had in my life

Really nice place & good food, especially compared to the restaurants around. A bit an expansive. We ordered - Truffle pasta which was great, another custom pasta for the kid, Grilled Octopus which was great, and the crispy pig which was ok just too fatty for me , but was made very well. Rioja wine was really good. Super nice service, great vibe, great music, beautiful restaurant.

Lovely place, just off of the main harbour parade. We had taramasalata to start (OK, but maybe I am not used to the real thing!) warm bread, yum and the most delicious aubergine rolls in a tomato sauce with cheese. Then the best Kleftiko I have ever had and hubby had the equally super beef Stifado. All very good indeed! Great service and when we came to pay, no obvious option to leave a tip, so we left a cash one. Really worth a visit!

Check it out. It's an excellent restaurant just off the main harbour. + Superb local food. Excellent menu. A lot of choice but it didn't damage the quality. We had the moussaka and the duck. Local complimentary bread. Excellent local wine. Non alcoholic beer on the menu. Great value, big portions - The service was absolutely fantastic from the one woman on the team. Every other waiter was slow, to the extent we didn't get dessert because we waited so long. The one excellent member of staff deserves better support.

Very nice restaurant in Paphos. Probably the best experience on our holiday. Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10. service- the best , a lovely guy ( from Georgia) cannot remember his name ( sorrryyyy ) was suuuper nice and sweet to us. Gave us great recommendations, would definitely recommend this place and will be back next yeah. Ohhh and the lamb there is very nice
